realme has just unveiled realme UI 7.0, the Android 16-based operating system. It introduces a refreshed design, enhanced personalization, AI tools, optimizations, and more.
The company also announced its rollout schedule, which begins on November 2025.
realme UI 7.0
realme UI 7.0 has a Light Glass Design that adds depth to its icons and overall design. The design comes with Ice Cube Icons that replace the more flat designs.
Meanwhile, the Misty Glass Control Center has a frosted, translucent background. There’s also the Breathing Dock, that optimizes your layouts for better clarity and structure.

It also brings customization options like Flux Theme 2.0 for large-text themes, panoramic Always-On Display, and support for Live Photos and video wallpapers with AI-powered Depth of Field. Additionally, there are new fingerprint animations, interactive icons, widgets, and new lock screen styles.
realme UI 7.0 also supports iPhone and Apple Watch Connect, allowing syncing for calls, messages, and health data.
For AI features, it introduces AI Notify Brief, AI Framing Master, and AI Gaming Coach. These do:
• AI Notify Brief – summarize notifications with key updates, schedules, and to-dos
• AI Framing Master – helps with composition guidance for photography
• AI Gaming Coach – optimizes gameplay by analyzing usage your patterns
The Flux Engine is said to offer up to 15% better responsiveness, 22% improved daily perfomance, and up to 29% boost in app scrolling smoothness.

That said though, he still has the mentality of "as long as it works" for his personal gadgets.
