Red Dunes Games is making a grand return to Tokyo Game Show 2025, bringing one of the event’s most ambitious showcases yet. The UAE-based publisher and developer, which earlier this year signed a multi-year partnership deal that strengthened its global ties, is stepping onto the Makuhari Messe show floor with twelve titles spanning flagship projects and indie gems, plus new collaborations with Japanese studio ACQUIRE. From September 25 to 28, Booth 07-N14 will serve as the centerpiece of the company’s biggest TGS presence to date.

Inside the booth, visitors will find 32 high-performance PCs powered by GALLERIA, ensuring that fans and press alike can explore Red Dunes’ upcoming releases in full. Demos, trailers, and hands-on time with several genres will give attendees the chance to experience everything from cinematic story-driven RPGs to quirky hand-drawn platformers. The line-up reflects the company’s philosophy of balancing high-profile projects with attention to emerging indie developers, a commitment CEO and Creative Director Sultan Darmaki says remains at the heart of Red Dunes’ ambitions.
“Returning to TGS this year is both exciting and meaningful for us,” Darmaki noted. “What began with just a handful of booths last year has grown into one of the largest presences at the show, reflecting the trust of our partners and the passion of our teams. Our lineup highlights the balance we believe in: pairing flagship titles with standout indie games that deserve the spotlight. At Red Dunes, our focus remains the same, supporting both established and emerging creators and delivering experiences that are fun, meaningful, and shared with our partners and fans.”

Among the titles set for hands-on play are Princess of the Water Lilies, a hand-drawn puzzle platformer steeped in nostalgic animation influences; LightSup, a frantic couch co-op rogue-lite brawler; and Nightmare Circus, where players escape the menace of a surreal dreamscape as a puppeteer battling against nightmare creatures. The roster also includes distinctively creative games like Katuba’s Poacher, a boss-rush experience created by a one-man South Korean studio, and the Southeast Asia-inspired isometric RPG Blades of Mirage, where players shape water-based weapon combat across mysterious island ruins. Each game emphasizes a unique style, underlining Red Dunes’ curatorial approach to spotlighting diverse experiences.

The showcase further brings fans closer to Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast from the Past!, an officially licensed revival of the beloved TV series. For those chasing darker adventures, Silent Planet: Elegy of a Dying World introduces players to a gothic sci-fi metroidvania set on a doomed planet. Meanwhile, Zozo and the Lost Dreams offers lighthearted platforming humor, while Port of Jumanah dives deep into action-adventure waters inspired by the UAE’s pearl-diving heritage.

Red Dunes is also using TGS as a stage to unveil the first projects from its strategic partnership with ACQUIRE. Three eagerly awaited titles—Monster Eater, Hamrazu:Re, and the codename project Tremor—will be revealed, complete with trailers and two demos. These collaborations are designed to merge Japanese craft with Red Dunes’ broad international vision, signaling a strong new alliance in game development. Fans can look forward to ACQUIRE’s official channels on September 19 for even more updates.

For TGS visitors, Booth 07-N14 will not just be a demo space but a statement. Red Dunes Games is positioning itself as both a champion of indie creativity and an ambitious global player, blending styles, cultures, and storytelling traditions. With blockbuster revivals alongside experimental smaller titles, the company is using Tokyo Game Show as its platform to affirm that its future will be as eclectic and globally minded as its presence on the show floor.
