X/Twitter user @Skyfops shared images of a man holding two iPhones in Union Square, San Francisco. One of which is believed to be a test device of the iPhone 17 Pro.
iPhone 17 Pro – Leaked Photos?
The user shared two photos of the man, one revealing the back of the two iPhones and the other showing the front. Only one of the two, though, is of interest as the other appears to be an iPhone 16 Pro.
However, the iPhone 16 Pro looks to have a data matrix code sticker near the camera module. This is for commissioned phones for Apple employees.
The other phone, though, has a black case, but it still reveals a new design, which coincides with all the recent reports. It includes the triple rear camera on the right in a familiar triangular configuration. However, unlike the 16 Pro and previous phones, the LED and LiDAR scanners are now to the right of the device rather than sharing the square camera module.
The angle of the front of the device, while it doesn’t reveal much about the design, showcases just how thick the case is. Which could be intentional, so it doesn’t stand out too much in public.
Apple doesn’t normally share much about its devices like the iPhones, but we do expect the iPhone 17 Pro and its siblings to debut in early September.
