Ahead of the July 12 launch, quite a lot has been revealed and reported on the Nothing phone (1), the first smartphone of Carl Pei’s new company, Nothing. Here’s a rundown of what has been released to help you keep up to date with what we can expect with the company’s first phone

Among the confirmed specs include a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The former was revealed recently on TikTok, while the latter was spotted in the Making Phone video released by the company and then revealed on TikTok.

Next up is support for 33W charging, which while it wasn’t officially revealed, it was spotted on the TUV Sud website. It was seen charging at up to 11V 3A.

A black color option has also been going around but this was shared by WinFuture. The black option offers quite a unique design change that highlights the glyphs on the back. Nothing eventually released a black option for the ear (1) so a black phone (1) isn’t too far-fetched.

Meanwhile, Commonwealth Philippines announced a partnership with Nothing for the phone (1) in the country on Instagram. We’re not sure what the partnership will entail but it further adds to the hype for the Nothing phone (1).

Previously, it was confirmed that the phone (1) will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset which will bring wireless charging and wireless reverse charging.
