The Pokémon Truck Metro Manila tour begins on October 2, 2026, giving Filipino fans their first chance to try Pokémon Pokopia on the Nintendo Switch 2. The Pokémon Company is rolling its custom-built, 17-foot LED truck through malls and city routes in the metro until January 24, 2027.

The Philippine stop follows earlier runs in Singapore and Malaysia. According to The Pokémon Company, those tours welcomed more than 250,000 visitors combined.

What the Pokémon Truck Metro Manila tour offers

Inside the truck, six Nintendo Switch 2 gaming stations are set up for walk-in play. Four of them run Pokémon Pokopia, the slow-life sandbox where players build a world together with Pokémon. The remaining two carry a selection of other Nintendo titles at featured stops.

Each station pairs a Switch 2 console with a themed board and printed instructions, and staff are on hand to help first-time players. The truck also has sofa seating.

Outside the play area, guests get a Pokémon Pokopia photo zone, a decorative wall, a coloring corner, and Pikachu mascot appearances on selected weekends. Visitors can also take home a commemorative Pokémon Pokopia sun visor while supplies last.

“We’re bringing the Pokémon Truck to malls across Metro Manila so that as many people in the Philippines as possible can enjoy this experience,” said Kenichiro Fujino, Manager at The Pokémon Company. “We look forward to welcoming everyone to the wonderful world of Pokémon Pokopia. Even if you can’t visit the malls, keep an eye out for the truck as it travels around the city on weekdays. We can’t wait for you to try the game!”

Where and when to catch the truck

The truck anchors at fixed mall locations from Friday to Sunday, when the full setup, event stage, and activity zones run from 10 am to 10 pm. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays it circulates within city areas instead, so fans may spot it on the road.

Pokémon Pokopia is already a Switch 2 hit

Pokémon Pokopia launched on March 5, 2026 as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, co-developed by GAME FREAK and Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force. Gadget Pilipinas previously reported that the game surpassed 5 million sales as the first Switch 2 exclusive to hit that mark.

It is available physically and digitally, with local game stores listing the physical release at around PhP3,850. A three-part paid Expansion Pass is also out, with Part 1, Bubbly Basin, already live and the remaining parts arriving through 2027.
