OPPO is reportedly developing a “wide” smartphone, a form factor Huawei recently revived with the Pura X View. According to recent leaks, the new device will be called the Reno X.
OPPO’s “Wide” Reno X Leaks
A tipster on X has shared the alleged specifications for the upcoming phone. The Reno X is expected to feature a 6.35-inch flat screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its aspect ratio is rumored to be either 16:9 or 16:10, contrasting with the Pura X View’s 5:3 ratio.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by an unspecified MediaTek Dimensity 9000-series chipset. The camera system features a 200MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera.
The phone is also said to sport a metal frame, adding to its premium feel. Interestingly, the Reno X is said to be a part of OPPO’s mid-range Reno lineup, rather than the flagship Find series. Earlier rumors have also suggested the device will pack a massive 7,000 mAh battery.
As of now, OPPO has not officially confirmed the Reno X or its specifications.
