OPPO has partnered with AI agent platform Manus to give OPPO AI Mind Pilot the ability to finish tasks, not just answer questions. The collaboration brings Manus‘ agentic capabilities into AI Mind Pilot’s new Agent Mode, which will debut on the OPPO Find X10 Series running ColorOS 17.
It is a shift OPPO frames as Personalized Proactive Intelligence, where the assistant understands intent and acts on it. Instead of replying with information, Agent Mode plans the work, picks the right tools, and returns a finished result.

Manus Brings Agent Mode to OPPO AI Mind Pilot
According to OPPO, Agent Mode can work directly with files and photos stored on the device. It can break a goal into multiple steps, gather relevant information, select the appropriate tool, and complete the task.
OPPO’s own example is travel planning. Ask AI Mind Pilot to organize a trip and it can collect flight tickets, hotel bookings, restaurant reservations, and attraction tickets scattered across different apps, then combine them with online information into a day-by-day itinerary. Users do not have to manually gather and upload anything.
The same approach covers everyday work. Users can ask the assistant to find and organize photos from a trip, locate specific images, or bring together existing files and online information to create a presentation, proposal, or portfolio from a single prompt.

“Agentic AI marks an important shift from answering questions to helping users get things done,” said Kai Tang, President of Software Engineering at OPPO. “Together with Manus, we are bringing more proactive and capable experiences to AI Mind Pilot.”
“Smartphones are central to people’s daily lives and support many of the tasks they handle every day, making them a natural platform for personal AI agents,” said Tao Zhang, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Manus.
Privacy and User Control Stay On Device
OPPO says privacy, security, and user control sit at the core of AI Mind Pilot. ColorOS 17 uses on-device models to understand and organize information locally. For local tasks such as finding, organizing, or renaming files and photos, OPPO says the original content stays on the device and is not shared with Manus.
When a task requires external processing, AI Mind Pilot will ask for the user’s explicit confirmation before relevant content is uploaded or shared. Users also stay in control of what information is accessed, which actions are taken, and whether external processing is allowed at all.

Launching First on the OPPO Find X10 Series
The Manus-powered capabilities in AI Mind Pilot will debut on the OPPO Find X10 Series with ColorOS 17. OPPO unveiled ColorOS 17 globally on October 13, and the Find X10 Series is set for its global debut on October 21 in Mallorca, Spain, which we covered earlier.
OPPO says further details on availability, supported markets, and user benefits will be announced at launch. Philippine pricing and availability have not been announced.
