The ASUS ProArt 16 is the creator laptop ASUS has built around the NVIDIA RTX Spark platform. Here is what the hardware is, how it is configured, and what arrives in the box.
The ProArt 16 sits at the top of the ASUS creator line, and it is the company’s first machine built on the RTX Spark platform.
That platform pairs a Blackwell RTX GPU with an efficient CPU and a single pool of unified memory. The unit supplied by ASUS carries 64 GB of that memory, which is enough capacity to hold and run large models locally.
ASUS ProArt 16 DESIGN AND BUILD
The chassis is a CNC aluminum unibody, offered in Nano Black and Neo White. It measures 35.41 by 24.30 cm, ranges from 1.29 to 1.59 cm thick, and weighs 1.77 kg.
ASUS ProArt 16 DISPLAY
The screen is a 16 inch 3K OLED panel at 2880 by 1800, in the taller 16:10 shape that suits timelines and code. It refreshes at 120 Hz with a 0.2 ms response time.
Brightness is rated at 500 nits typical and 1100 nits peak in HDR. It covers 100 percent of DCI-P3, carries PANTONE validation, and is certified to VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000.
ASUS also rates it for 70 percent less harmful blue light, and the panel supports touch and stylus input with a 90 percent screen to body ratio.
ASUS lists two panel options for the line: the 3K OLED in the unit supplied, and a UHD+ panel at 3840 by 2400.
KEYBOARD, TOUCHPAD AND PORTS
The keyboard is a backlit chiclet design with 1.7 mm of key travel, and the touchpad is haptic rather than mechanical.
Three USB 4.0 Gen 3 Type-C ports support display output and power delivery at up to 40 Gbps, alongside one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, an HDMI 2.1 output, a full size SD Express 7.0 card reader and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Wireless duties fall to a Wi-Fi 7 card on a triple band 2×2 layout, alongside Bluetooth 5.4.
AUDIO AND CAMERA
Built-in speakers use Smart Amp technology, and the FHD camera includes an IR sensor for Windows Hello sign in.
STORAGE AND SOFTWARE
Storage runs on an M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, in 512 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB capacities, with two M.2 2280 PCIe 5.0 x4 slots available for expansion. The unit we received is packed with 1 TB of storage.
The machine ships with Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro. The included software covers ProArt Creator Hub, MuseTree, StoryCube, GlideX, ScreenXpert and MyASUS, and MyASUS adds AI Noise Canceling, OLED Care, Live Update, TaskFirst and WiFi SmartConnect.
BATTERY AND POWER
The machine draws from a 99.9 Wh, 4-cell Li-ion battery, and charges over Type-C with the bundled 140 W adapter. We’ll talk more about its battery life on our full review.
WHAT IS IN THE BOX
The package contains the ProArt P16 laptop, an ASUS ProArt wireless optical mouse, a protective sleeve and a 140 W Type-C AC adapter.
ASUS notes that included accessories vary according to country and territory, so buyers should confirm the bundle with their local retailer.
AVAILABILITY
ASUS has not shared pricing or availability in the Philippines for the ProArt 16, and we will not speculate on either. Stay tuned for more information.
