Nexal is pitching a less rigid way of looking at the Filipino day. Under its Work Freely, Live Fully campaign, the brand argues that the old split between office hours and personal time no longer matches how many people actually move through a weekday, especially now that work, wellness, entertainment and downtime increasingly overlap.
The company’s framing is straightforward. Technology should support whatever the user is doing at a given moment instead of defining it, which means a device is no longer tied to one job, one desk or one schedule.
Why the work-life balance line is blurring
Nexal’s release points out that flexibility has changed what productivity means. Finishing a task is no longer necessarily tied to a fixed schedule or a traditional workstation. Focus can just as easily go to a creative interest, personal planning, or making room for something that matters that day.
The same shift shows up in how Filipinos use audio. Open-ear audio has become a quiet staple for people who want music or calls without shutting out the street, the gym or the people around them.
What Nexal is putting behind the pitch
The Nexal Pad, priced at PhP17,999, carries an 11-inch 2.5K display, which leaves room for planning, research, creative work or entertainment. Nexal also lists AI features and up to 12GB RAM via DRE, aimed at the kinds of tasks that call for sustained concentration rather than a quick glance.
For movement, the Nexal OpenSports Pro at PhP3,999 uses Dual Conduction for running, workouts and outdoor activity, keeping users connected while still aware of what is happening around them. The Nexal Earbuds, at PhP2,999, bring 53dB ANC and a 6-mic ENC setup to music, calls and everyday listening.
Together, the three devices cover parts of a day that used to be kept apart. A tablet handles focused work and personal projects, while the audio products move between calls, training and wind-down time.
Pricing and availability
The Nexal Pad, Nexal OpenSports Pro and Nexal Earbuds are now available at realme and TechLife stores. Buyers of the Pad can get freebies worth up to PhP7,998, including a free keyboard case and watch, from September 25 to October 4.
