The collaboration will integrate Qualcomm’s advanced features into the X1. While the exact chipset, whether a mainline smartphone Snapdragon or a dedicated Snapdragon G-series gaming chip, remains undisclosed, the hardware’s core focus is firmly on power efficiency.

“We believe the future of gaming hardware lies in efficient performance, not just raw power,” stated Jobin Joseph, Co-Founder of ARC. “For markets like India, performance-per-watt is key to delivering portability, battery life, and accessibility.”

The X1 aims to meet the distinct needs of gamers in emerging markets. To achieve this, the console will run on a custom Android OS dubbed “OwlOS.” The customized operating system will feature a controller-first interface, deep system-level performance optimizations, and access to games across multiple platforms, extending beyond standard mobile libraries.
