Insta360 has officially launched the Insta360 X6 in the Philippines, introducing its latest flagship 8K 360 camera to local media, creators, and industry partners.
The launch expands Insta360’s X Series presence in the local market and is designed around the idea that one camera can be enough. It combines upgraded 360 imaging, flexible shooting modes, and AI-powered creation in a compact device for travel, adventure, professional content creation, and everyday moments.
Flagship Imaging and Flexible Shooting
The Insta360 X6 uses custom dual Sony 1/1.1-inch square sensors to deliver a full 1-inch-equivalent 360 imaging experience. It can record native 8K video at up to 50 frames per second and capture 120MP 360 photos. Users can also switch to single-lens mode for 5K60fps or 4K120fps recording, giving the camera a more traditional action-camera role.
The camera can function as a 360 camera, a subject-tracking camera, or a single-lens action camera. Users can capture their surroundings and then select the best angle later, create flat 4K footage directly from the camera using InstaFrame 2.0, or use the camera in more conventional shooting situations.
The upgraded Triple AI chip system is designed to improve noise reduction and low-light performance. The Insta360 X6 also supports 10-bit color, I-Log, as well as native in-camera Dolby Vision, offering richer color, greater detail, and more flexibility for everyday users and professional creators.
Longer Shoots and Smarter Editing
For extended recording, the device includes a 2,600mAh Xtreme Battery that provides up to 140 minutes of 8K30fps 360 recording. Insta360’s Star-Ridge cooling system is designed to maintain stable performance during sustained 8K shooting. The camera also has 64GB of built-in storage (47GB usable), allowing users to begin recording without a microSD card installed.
The Insta360 X6 introduces Insta360 PanoMind, the company’s first 360-native AI model, which is designed to understand a complete spherical scene rather than a traditional flat frame. With AI Director, the camera can analyze footage while charging and automatically create highlight edits delivered to the Insta360 app.
Then there’s Auto Edit 2.0 which can combine one or multiple clips with framing, camera movement, cuts, music, and transitions. Moments Pro in the cloud and Insta360’s other cloud-based editing tools provide additional workflow options.

The device is equipped with a 2.32-inch OLED display, Full Screen Press controls, Replaceable Lens 2.0, a 360 windproof microphone, and a Hidden Engine Mic for riders. It supports more than 100 accessories for travel, motorcycle riding, cycling, diving, outdoor sports, filmmaking, and other creative activities.
