ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the ASUS ROG Gjallar, a new gaming soundbar designed to provide an immersive audio experience with the signature ROG design. The ASUS ROG Gjallar finally comepletes ASUS ROG’ audio lineup. It features 2.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos audio, a wireless subwoofer, built-in microphones, and support for multiple devices – designed to work across PCs, consoles, mobile devices, and TVs.
2.1.2 Dolby Atmos Audio with Wireless Subwoofer
The ROG Gjallar sports four 50mm full-range drivers, two 27mm tweeters, and upward-firing channels to create its 2.1.2 Dolby Atmos configuration. It is paired with a 6.5-inch, 65-watt wireless subwoofer that connects over 5GHz and handles the lower frequencies for games, movies, and music. According to ASUS, this setup is designed to provide clearer positional audio while also delivering stronger bass without requiring a separate wired connection to the subwoofer.
The ASUS ROG Gjallar soundbar also comes with an all-in-one control hub featuring an LCD display. From the hub, users can switch between input sources, adjust EQ profiles, control playback, and manage the RGB lighting. The built-in microphones use Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) and AI beamforming to reduce background noise and sounds coming from the speakers during voice communication.
Multiple Connectivity Options for PC and Consoles
ROG Gjallar supports USB-C, HDMI 2.1 with eARC, optical, AUX, and Bluetooth 5.3, allowing it to connect to a wide variety of devices. It supportsWindows PCs, Macs, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, mobile devices, and TVs. The HDMI 2.1 connection also supports up to 4K at 120Hz pass-through, while eARC can carry high-resolution audio without requiring a separate audio connection.
The soundbar also includes two USB Type-A ports on its right side, which can be used for wireless dongles, external storage, and other peripherals. Users can further adjust EQ, microphone settings, and RGB lighting through ASUS’ Gear Link software, which is available through a web portal and mobile app.
ASUS ROG Gjallar Philippines Price and Availability
The ASUS ROG Gjallar will arrive in the Philippines in September 2026 with an SRP of PHP 33,490. The soundbar measures 607 × 92 × 82mm and weighs 2.4kg, while its wireless subwoofer measures 125 × 315 × 356mm and weighs 5.7kg.
