Huawei has just officially unveiled the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series at the HUAWEI Flagship Product Launch, the global variant of the Pura 90 Series, which was introduced in China last April. The new flagship devices are joined by the HUAWEI MatePad Air (2026) and the FreeClip 3 S.
Among the stand-out features of the international variant of the latest flagship, dubbed the King of Imaging, aside from the new naming convention, include the 200MP 1/1.28-inch ultra-large RYYB 4x Telephoto snapper, summer-like design, and its 5G capability.
HUAWEI Pura 90s Series – Global
The HUAWEI Pura 90s series is headlined by the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max and joined by the Pura 90 Pro.
The international duo features a 50MP variable aperture main camera and a 40MP ultrawide snapper. Where they differ, though, is in the periscope telephoto. The Pura 90s Pro Max uses a 200MP 4x periscope telephoto. This is the aforementioned large 1/1.28-inch RYYB snapper and delivers 20x HEX Telephoto Video that said to deliver 200% clariity.
Huawei dubs these devices the King of Imaging, thanks to this camera system coupled with its True-to-Colour Camera 2.0. Additionally, the devices have AI-powered features like AI Composition, AI De-Glare, AI Move, AI Best Expression, and AI Remove.
The Pro Max is also the larger device with a 6.9-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the Pro is smaller at a 6.6-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPO OLED display.
Around the back, the HUAWEI Pura 90s series boasts the first dual-tone frame gradient colors on the Orange Ocean color option of the HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max. Other notable features include the Kirin 9030S chipset, 5G support (with features like Instant Signal Recovery and fast upload and download speeds), and Celia AI features that include being able to hail a ride for you.
