Sony 1000X The Collexion, Now Available
Sony Philippines has announced the local availability of the 1000X THE COLLEXION, a new premium over-ear headphone under its 1000X series. The company is positioning the release as part of the 10th anniversary celebration of the lineup, combining a more fashion-forward design with the audio and noise-canceling features the series is known for.
According to Sony, the 1000X THE COLLEXION focuses on both aesthetics and everyday comfort. It comes with premium-finished metal accents, refined faux leather, and a minimalist look offered in Black and White, while the ergonomic design, cushioned earcups, and wider headband are intended to make the headphones more comfortable for long listening sessions.
New Premium Features
Sony also highlighted several audio features that headline this release. The company says the headphones are the first to use DSEE Ultimate, an Edge-AI-based technology derived from its high-end Walkman lineup that upscales compressed digital music files in real time to restore lost detail. The pair also supports 360 Reality Audio Upmix with dedicated modes for music, cinema, and gaming, alongside Sony’s intelligent noise-canceling technology.
Battery life is rated at up to 24 hours with noise canceling enabled, making it suitable for travel, work, and extended daily use. Sony adds that the product also incorporates recycled materials in selected components, uses plastic-free packaging, and includes accessibility-focused features aimed at making operation more intuitive.
Availability
The Sony 1000X THE COLLEXION is now available at Sony Centers and authorized dealers across the Philippines for PHP 36,999. Buyers can choose between Black and White color options, and Sony is also encouraging customers to register for MySony Rewards for points and member perks on eligible purchases.
