NVIDIA has unveiled RTX Spark, a new platform for Windows laptops and compact desktop PCs designed for local AI agents, creative work and gaming. Announced at NVIDIA GTC Taipei and at Computex 2026 on June 1, 2026, RTX Spark is being developed with Microsoft to bring agent capabilities and NVIDIA’s AI and graphics technologies to a new class of PCs.
The NVIDIA RTX Spark superchip pairs an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU—with 6,144 CUDA cores and fifth-generation Tensor Cores—with a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU, connected through NVIDIA’s NVLink-C2C interconnect. NVIDIA says the platform delivers up to 1 petaflop of AI compute and supports up to 128GB of unified memory. MediaTek collaborated on the custom CPU design.
NVIDIA and Microsoft build a Windows platform for agents
NVIDIA and Microsoft are developing a Windows platform for agents that can run on a user’s device. NVIDIA says the software foundation will combine new Windows security features with NVIDIA OpenShell, a runtime intended to let users set policies for agent activity, route queries to local models according to privacy preferences, and disguise personal information sent to cloud models.
NVIDIA says agents on the platform will be able to carry out tasks in Windows applications, work across apps, generate images and video, and search local files. These are capabilities described by NVIDIA; the supplied materials do not include independent testing.
RTX Spark targets AI, creative workloads and gaming

NVIDIA says RTX Spark can run 120-billion-parameter language models with up to 1 million tokens of context, render 90GB 3D scenes, and edit 12K 4:2:2 video. NVIDIA also says the platform can run AAA games at 1440p and over 100 frames per second with ray tracing, DLSS and Reflex. These are NVIDIA-stated capabilities, not independently verified results.
NVIDIA is also working with Adobe to optimize Photoshop and Premiere for RTX Spark. NVIDIA says the updated creative workflows could deliver up to 2x faster AI and graphics performance. Adobe app updates are expected to begin rolling out alongside RTX Spark availability.
RTX Spark laptops and desktops arrive this fall

NVIDIA says RTX Spark laptops will come in 14- to 16-inch sizes, with designs as slim as 14mm and as light as three pounds. NVIDIA also describes tandem OLED displays with G-SYNC and all-day battery life. Compact desktop PCs are planned alongside the laptops.
RTX Spark laptops and compact desktops are expected this fall from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface and MSI, with Acer and GIGABYTE models to follow. NVIDIA has not provided pricing in the supplied announcement.
