Following its global launch, Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi 17T Series in the Philippines, bringing the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro to its T Series lineup with a stronger focus on imaging, display quality, battery life, and design. The new series also marks a first for the T Series by offering two different sizes, giving users more options depending on how they use their phone.
Imaging and Creative Tools
Both devices feature a triple-camera system led by a 50MP main camera with Leica optics and Xiaomi’s imaging technology. Both models use a Leica 5x telephoto camera for the first time in the T Series, with support for 50MP shots, OIS, 30cm macro photography, 10x optical-grade zoom, and up to 120x AI Ultra Zoom.
Xiaomi is also highlighting Leica Live Moment, a feature that captures motion and expression before and after the decisive instant. This is supported across all rear camera focal lengths, while Leica Live Portrait adds natural bokeh and motion retention in portrait mode.
On the Xiaomi 17T Pro, the company is also introducing its first 4K 60fps cinematic recording on a Xiaomi Series smartphone, along with Ultra-HD Live Moment in 4K and additional live cinematography effects.
Display and Eye Care
The Xiaomi 17T Series uses a 1.5K AMOLED display with 3,500-nit peak brightness, offering strong visibility even under bright outdoor light. Xiaomi Vision Care also automatically adapts to ambient light and helps manage blue light, flicker, and motion blur for more comfortable long-term viewing.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro reaches up to 144Hz refresh rate, while the Xiaomi 17T offers up to 120Hz. The 17T Pro model uses a 1-nit minimum brightness mode for low-light viewing and achieves ultra-slim bezels through its LIPO packaging solution. The series is also the first with TUV Rheinland quadruple eye-care certification, along with Xiaomi’s first TV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care certification.
Design and Battery
The Xiaomi 17T Pro is available in Deep Blue, Deep Violet, and Black, while the Xiaomi 17T comes in Violet, Opal White, Blue, and Black. Xiaomi describes the phones as refined and modern, with brushed finishes, smaller camera modules, and micro-curved edges for a better in-hand feel.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro packs a 7,000mAh battery the largest on a Xiaomi Series smartphone in international markets, and supports 100W wired HyperCharge and 50W wireless HyperCharge. The Xiaomi 17T uses a 6,500mAh battery with 67W HyperCharge. Both models also support third-party chargers through PPS support.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, while the Xiaomi 17T uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra. Both are equipped with Xiaomi’s 3D IceLoop System for thermal management and sustained performance, especially during gaming or heavy multitasking.
