Last Friday, the Blip Media team gathered for a day of fun and exciting activities, mainly to put the HONOR 600’s cameras to the test and see if the device can hold its own in various shooting environments including low light, having multiple light sources, and the sunset, while checking out its various creative features like AI Image to Video.
Space & Time Cube+
The first venue – Space & Time Cube+. Located at S Maison in Pasay City, this attraction consists of several rooms with various themes, immersive, and interactive spaces – a worthy proving ground for the HONOR 600’s imaging system.

There was this room called Wandering Planets with figures of planets surrounded by mirrors that reflect the images to create a multiplier effect.

In this room, the HONOR 600’s 13MP ultrawide unit proved to be very useful in capturing more in the frame, while also adding a more creative touch to the photos.

Then there’s the Mirror Maze, which can be quite tricky to navigate if you don’t look on the floor panels (oh no, secret revealed).

The HONOR 600’s 200MP main camera proved useful in capturing the details with good color accuracy and sharpness. While it does not have a dedicated telephoto lens, the advanced in-sensor crop zoom does the job.

We also went through Infinite Train, a room that resembles a moving train’s dining area with a window view. This was perfect for capturing photos and then turning them into short videos using the HONOR 600’s AI Image to Video 2.0 feature, which also lets you fine tune the output with simple prompts.
If you’re a fan of Dance Dance Revolution (which also reveals my age), the Dance Cube area is perfect for you.

The instructions are simple. Step on a Blue tile, and avoid the Red tiles. This forces you to hop around and sort of dance to escape the snake-like pattern on the Red tiles. It was a great way to test out how the HONOR 600’s cameras would handle multiple colors in low light.

Then there’s my favorite room, Crystal Matrix. It’s a space with mirrored walls and so many LED strips that shift in color from time to time, allowing for that Matrix effect, even better with someone like Luie of OMGLuie as the model!

There was also a device that’s filled with mirrors inside, allowing it to show multiple reflections of a subject when being viewed from the other side. Here’s a photo of our PC Reviews Lead, Grant, with a futuristic movie teaser vibe.

We also visited a Tilted Room, and an area with stairs that allow for photos which make it look like you’re falling to the ground, holding on to the rails. Another perfect chance to use the HONOR 600’s AI Image-to-Video feature.
SM MoA By the Bay

Then of course, a trip to the MoA area wouldn’t be complete without a stroll at By the Bay. The MoA Eye was the perfect opportunity to try out the zooming capabilities of the device, which I’d consider decent, given the lack of a dedicated telephoto lens.

Unfortunately, the view is blocked with reclamation work, but we still get to see a bit of the sunset.

Some of my colleagues wanted to go on a thrill ride, and so they did. While I didn’t join because I didn’t have the energy and heart for it, it provided a chance to test the HONOR 600’s cameras in terms of shooting a moving subject. The result was also decent, considering I had to zoom in a bit too.

After a tiring afternoon, we went back to the mall for dinner, and opportunities for food photography, to which the device did not disappoint.

Overall, I think that the HONOR 600’s cameras did the job and delivered. Whether in a slightly less than ideal setting, or just capturing everyday moments outdoors, it’s a device that a lot of people will like, and the nice thing is that this is just one aspect of the device.
