realme has just announced that it will introduce the realme 16 Series 5G in the Philippines on April 23. The latest members of the realme Number Series focus on tactile materials, refined aesthetics, and upgraded portrait capabilities.

Nature-inspired Aesthetics
At the core of the Series’ design is the Urban Wild Design, done in collaboration with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. The concept blends the raw, organic feel of nature with sleek urban aesthetics.
Leading the series is the realme 16 Pro+ 5G in Master Gold, evoking a sunlit wheat field. It is joined by the realme 16 Pro 5G, which comes in Pebble Grey, reminiscent of smooth river pebbles, with an Orchid Purple colorway to complete the collection.
The realme 16 Pro+ 5G features a bio-based silicone back panel derived from plant-based straw, offering a soft, polished texture that is durable and resistant to dirt and wear.
Rounding out the upcoming realme 16 Series 5G is the realme 16 5G. It has a more minimalist “Air” aesthetic in White and Black. The base model features a horizontal camera strip, rather than a rounded square module. The strip houses a selfie mirror that sits beside the main camera.
200MP Portrait Master Takes Center Stage
The realme 16 Pro Series 5G elevates smartphone photography with the 200MP Multi-focal Camera system.
The 200MP main camera of the realme 16 Pro+ 5G is joined by a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP front snapper. It allows you to capture everything from zoomed-in portraits to wide group shots and high-quality selfies.
It also debuts the industry’s first TÜV Rheinland-certified LumaColor Image Camera. This enhances color, balances lighting between subject and background, and renders natural skin tones for lifelike photos.
The realme 16 Pro 5G features a 200MP OIS main and an 8MP ultrawide camera system, while the realme 16 5G has a 50MP Sony IMX582 main lens and a 50MP front camera.
The realme 16 Series 5G will officially launch in the Philippines on April 23 at 5:30 PM via a livestream on the official Facebook page.
