Xiaomi has stunned the automotive world at MWC 2026, unveiling the Vision Gran Turismo (GT). This all-electric supercar concept is said to mark a historic milestone as the first Chinese vehicle in the iconic PlayStation racing series.

The Vision GT showcased its functional aesthetics, featuring a “sculpted by the wind” design. A teardrop-shaped cockpit, scissor doors, and an aggressive shark-fin roof define its light-blue body. Chief designer Li Tianyuan emphasized a “less is more” philosophy, integrating aerodynamic air ducts and a massive rear diffuser directly into the bodywork to achieve a drag coefficient of 0.29.

Under the hood, the concept utilizes Xiaomi’s 900V Silicon Carbide platform. While official performance figures are being finalized, the powertrain is engineered to handle a staggering 1,900 horsepower. To manage this immense energy, the car is equipped with massive carbon-ceramic brakes tucked behind specialized “Accretion Rims.”

The interior, dubbed the “Sofa Racer,” reimagines the cockpit as a “cocoon.” It replaces traditional bucket seats with a sculpted, padded lounge-style arrangement. Drivers interact through a butterfly-shaped steering wheel featuring integrated displays and the “Xiaomi Pulse” system.

While currently a virtual-only exercise for Gran Turismo 7, the Vision GT serves as a bold statement of intent. Following the record-breaking success of the SU7 Ultra, Xiaomi is signaling its transition from a tech giant to a dominant force in the global high-performance EV market.
