vivo has just confirmed some of the camera specs of the upcoming vivo X300 Ultra, the most premium model of the vivo X300 series. Among the details the company announced are the camera lenses and even stabilization.

The announcement was made at a recent imaging-focused event and revealed the camera features for the vivo X300 Ultra, which seems like it will be more of a compact camera than a typical flagship device.

The new camera system is developed with ZEISS and features a 3+2 configuration, which comprises three main sensors accompanied by additional optical elements and processing tweaks.

The main sensor is confirmed to have a 200MP Sony LYTIA 901 lens, which will make it the first smartphone to feature the lens. It is paired with a new lens setup that will reduce reflections and improve low light performance.

This is joined by a 1/1.27-inch Sony LYTIA 818 sensor coupled with the latest VCS bionic spectrum tech and ZEISS T* coating. It is also said to have better light capture and CIPA 6.0 level stabilization.

Last is the telephoto lens, which is a 200MP Samsung HP0 sensor with a CIPA 7.0 rating with gimbal-level stabilization. There are also new G2 teleconverter options that can offer focal lengths of up to 400mm.

These lenses are also joined with updates to noise reduction and HDR processing, among other software-level optimizations.

The vivo X300 Ultra is set to debut alongside the vivo X300s on March 30, 2026. We expect to learn even more about both devices as the days go by.
