TECNO Mobile will soon begin beta-testing TECNO EllaClaw, the first mobile AI agent powered by OpenClaw and designed for emerging markets. It is built through deep integration of the OpenClaw agentic framework with Ella, TECNO’s AI assistant.

Compared with OpenClaw – the open-source, foundational agentic infrastructure – EllaClaw delivers a more seamless and consumer-friendly mobile AI agent experience. You can activate it directly within Ella, making access simpler and more intuitive than comparative agent solutions.
TECNO EllaClaw beta version will be available in the coming months. Three tiers of capabilities will be available on the beta version.
At its most immediate level, the AI agent can handle One-Sentence Automation, even expressed in natural or ambiguous language. It includes turning simple inputs into real outcomes like scheduling, file management, and beyond.
Underneath that is Cross-App Data Integration, which can operate at the system level to connect SMS, calendar, notes, and more. Reflecting TECNO’s longstanding “Practical AI” philosophy, two use cases revealed bring this to life:
- The smart SMS summary skill that can auto-categorize messages and flag priority items like bank notifications, consumption bills, and time-sensitive travel updates, while identifying messages safe to delete
- The daily schedule skill that supports aggregating calendar events, notes, real-time weather, and a personalized news briefing via secure web search into one actionable daily digest
TECNO EllaClaw will be able to learn your habits and preferences over time, through a persistent memory system. This allows it to proactively surface information and expand skills as it goes.
Moreover, it is designed with privacy safeguards, with your data isolated and inaccessible to unauthorized users or third parties.
