The upgraded 16-core Neural Engine further enhances on-device machine learning, benefiting everything from photo editing in Pixelmator Pro to advanced video masking in Final Cut Pro.
Enhanced Connectivity
The M4 iPad Air introduces Apple’s custom-designed N1 and C1X chips. The N1 chip enables Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread support, while the C1X modem in cellular models offers 50% faster data speeds and improved energy efficiency.
