Based on the date, February 28, 2026, the device will be unveiled at the brand’s global launch event ahead of this year’s Mobile World Congress, alongside the Xiaomi 17 Series.
LEICA LEITZPHONE
According to a leak, the LEICA LEITZPHONE powered by Xiaomi is the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition, just in a different name. It uses single color for its back panel in contrast to its Chinese counterpart that uses a two-tone color, along with a Leica branding in horizontal, versus in vertical.
According to another report, it will house a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and will run HyperOS 3 at launch.
It makes sense, given that Xiaomi and Leica announced an upgraded partnership through a joint letter, with mention of “to create a pinnacle mobile imaging flagship no one has ever seen before.” This might just be it, or they also be referring to the series as a whole.
Anyway, it’s only a day left before the launch, and we’re just as excited as you are to find out more, so stay tuned as we give you the latest news on Xiaomi’s newest products.
