Xiaomi’s Black Shark has officially launched its new gaming tablet for the global market. The device is now available worldwide through official retail channels.

The Black Shark Gaming Tablet features an 8.8-inch 2.5K display with a blistering 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The tablet utilizes a massive 25,176mm² vapor chamber cooling system.

The device’s build consists of an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy body, measuring just 7.7mm thick and weighing 332g. It packs a 7,300mAh battery, which the company claims provides over five hours of continuous gaming or ten hours of web browsing. Other notable features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, symmetrical dual speakers with a K9 smart amplifier, and a 13MP rear camera.
Currently available in Black and Silver, the tablet is priced at approximately USD 671. Running Android 16 out of the box, the Black Shark Gaming Tablet enters the market as a formidable competitor in the niche of compact, high-performance Android tablets.
