Entertainment Companion: Extending the Viewing Experience

At the center of the display lineup is the 130-inch Micro RGB, which features the widest and most detailed spectrum ever seen in Samsung TVs. It does so with a micro-sized RGB light source that drives the picture quality. The microscopic red, green, and blue diodes shine independently to produce color.

Additionally, it features the Micro RGBAI Engine Pro, enabling the precise control of RGB colors and creating more vivid picture quality in every scene. Coupled with this, the Timeless Frame design minimizes distractions and allows the picture to take center stage.

Other noteworthy features include:

  • Vision AI Companion (VAC) – uses AI technology to work alongside users as a full entertainment companion
  • AI Soccer Mode Pro – AI-driven feature that enhances picture and sound tuning
  • AI Sound Controller Pro – lets you raise or lower  the volume of the crowd, commentary, or background music for a personalized listening experience

VAC also boosts overall lifestyle experience by doing things like finding recipes for meals you see on TV by asking and using the most up-to-date information to make recommendations that align with health and fitness goals. It can also send recommended recipes directly to other devices like the newly-unveiled The Movingstyle, designed to move throughout the home and kitchen appliances.

Samsung also introduced two new WiFi speakers – the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7. These support a wider range of sound system combinations, enhance audiovisual quality, and improve the aesthetics of any space.

These share a timeless, dot design concept by renowned designer Erwan Bouroullec, inspired by a universal symbol in music and art, and grounded in Samsung’s signature Design language.

The company also introduced new products like the:

  • OLED S95H – a new ultra-thin OLED TV
  • The Freestyle+ – powered by VAC and allows you to view content on walls and ceilings and uneven surfaces
  • New Odyssey gaming lineup led by the first 6K 3D Odyssey G9 and the new Odyssey G6 and Odyssey G8

The new Samsung 2026 TV lineup supports HDR10+ ADVANCED, making it the first company to do so as well as Eclipsa Audio, the company’s new spatial sound system.

All the new displays run on the most powerful Tizen OS yet with up to seven years of Tizen OS updates.

Home Companion: Connected Smart Appliances

Cheolgi Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Digital Appliances (DA) Division at Samsung Electronics, and Elizabeth Anderson, Head of Integrated Marketing, DA at Samsung Electronics America (SEA) outlined the company’s vision to evolve from providing home appliances to true home companions.

The insight comes to life with the Family Hub, the AI-enabled refrigerator with an upgrade to AI Vision built with Google Gemini. AI Vision now unlocks existing limitations in recognizing food items and seamlessly tracks what is placed into and taken out of the refrigerator. It also aids in meal planning and food management.

Through a gamified feature called “What’s for Today?”, select refrigerators provide recipe recommendations based on what is inside, or also random recommendations. When selected, recipes show up through SmartThings Food, which provides a step-by-step guide. It can also be sent to connected cooking appliances for a seamless process.

Additionally, Video to Recipe adds even more simplicity, providing users with recommended videos and converting the videos into easy-to-follow steps.

At the event, Samsung also debuted FoodNote, a new weekly report that recaps users’ food intake into patterns, from most-used ingredients and recipe recommendations.

Now Brief also includes more widgets on the Family Hub screen with Voice ID.

Other new smart home appliances include:

  • The Bespoke AI Laundry Combo – removes the need to transfer loads of laundry. This year’s model comes with enhanced features like a faster super speed cycle and enhanced drying performance.
  • Bespoke AI AirDresser – solves another problem with your clothes with Auto Wrinkle Care, blasting strong air and steam jets to smooth out shirts.
  • Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra – powered by a Qualcomm Dragonwing processor and features an Active Stereo 3D Sensor to recognize liquids like coffee, juice, or transparent liquids like water. Its camera helps with navigation and allows the robot vacuum to serve as a monitoring device. Additionally, with a smarter Bixby, users can speak conversationally to the robot vacuum to carry out tasks with ease

Care Companion: From Reactive to Proactive

Lastly, Praveen Raja, Vice President and Head of Digital Health at Samsung Research America (SRA) introduced Samsung’s long-term vision for intelligent care enabled by Samsung’s integrated device ecosystem.

For example, Samsung aims to provide personalized health coaching, offering effective exercise and sleep coaching to help decrease risk for major chronic diseases and suggesting appropriate recipes based on ingredients available in connected refrigerators. It will also alert users if there are abnormal signs or patterns detected while allowing their health metrics to be shared with providers via the Xealth platform.

Samsung is also expanding its capabilities in dementia detection through research partnerships, with wearable devices registering subtle changes to mobility, speech, and engagement.

Samsung Knox and Knox Matrix serve as the foundation of this hyper-personalized ecosystem, safeguarding user data at every turn. To maintain security despite constant changes, Samsung’s security systems are consistently identifying AI risks by advancing to protect data in AI training processes and approving models through red team analysis.
