realme has just unveiled the realme 16 Pro series in India, with a design done in collaboration with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. The series comprises two devices – the realme 16 Pro and realme 16 Pro+.
realme 16 Pro Series
The realme 16 Pro series duo are both formidable devices. They share a 7000mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging, a 50MP front camera with 4K video recording support, and an IP66/IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
The realme 16 Pro+ is slightly larger of the two with a 6.8-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED with a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB storage UFS 3.1.
Behind the back, it boasts a 200MP Samsung HP5 sensor with a LumaColor algorithm, which is said to deliver master-level portraits thanks to skin tone optimization, fused optical bokeh, and light-shadow reconstruction. This camera is joined by a 50MP 3.5x telephoto lens and an 8MP ultrawide snapper.
Meanwhile, the realme 16 Pro has a 6.78-inch FHD+ flat AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
As far as optics go, it has the same 200MP main rear camera and the 8MP ultrawide lens. Yes, no telephoto lens for this device.
The realme 16 Pro series is confirmed to have 3 years of Android upgrades and 4 years of security updates.

The realme 16 Pro+ is available in India in three colors – Pebble Grey, Master Gold, and an exclusive Camellia Pink. It is offered in two variants, priced at:
- 8GB+256GB – INR 41,999 (around PHP 27,600)
- 12GB+512GB – INR 44,999 (around PHP 29,600)
Meanwhile, the realme 16 Pro comes in three colors – Pebble Grey, Master Gold, and an exclusive Orchid Purple. It has three memory configurations in India, and these are priced at:
- 8GB+128GB – INR 31,999 (around PHP 21,000)
- 8GB+256GB – INR 33,999 (around PHP 22,400)
- 12GB+256GB – INR 36,999 (around PHP 24,300)
The availability of the realme 16 Pro series in other markets, like the Philippines, has yet to be announced yet. However, we did see the eventual arrival of the realme 15 Pro 5G in the Philippines. So maybe, there’s a chance we see the realme 16 Pro series make it here too.
