Event History and Overview
The Canon PhotoMarathon started in Singapore in 2003 and has since expanded regionally to countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. In its 19th year locally, the event challenges participants to produce striking images under timed conditions with given themes.
The Canon PhotoMarathon 2026 introduces a new video category, and invites creators to convey stories via motion, sound, and narrative. Set for April 18, 2026, at BGC Amphitheater in Taguig City, the event is open to all types of users from professionals, hybrid creators, camera club members, students, to enthusiasts. For select categories even allow non-Canon camera users to join.

Preparatory Activities
