The nubia S2R renders have surfaced online, courtesy of leakster Evan Blass. The new device suggests nubia is preparing to launch another handset soon after the recent unveiling of the V80 Design in global markets.

The most distinctive feature of this budget phone is the back panel, which sports a simple, single primary camera lens alongside an LED flash. This design choice is often indicative of an entry-level price point.
Looking at the front, the nubia S2R features a display with a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera surrounded by thick bezels, which is typical for budget phones. The physical controls on the right side include the volume and power buttons, along with a mysterious third key. This extra button is speculated to function as either a dedicated camera shutter or a user-customizable shortcut. The SIM card slot is visible on the left edge of the device.
Blass did not provide any further specifications regarding the processor, battery capacity, or screen size. The official launch date and specific markets for the nubia S2R remain unconfirmed.
