OnePlus has just confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will be the first device to feature the upcoming display from BOE that features a 165Hz refresh rate.

OnePlus President Li Jie Louis confirmed that the company co-developed the third-generation Oriental Screen with BOE. It is described as the world’s most advanced smartphone display and boasts a 165Hz refresh rate.
The display on the OnePlus 15, in particular, is expected to be a 6.78-inch BOE X3 OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and the aforementioned faster refresh rate.
The new panel is said to promise four key areas – smoothness, display quality, dark viewing, and eye protection. It is said to be the first Android display to offer true hardware-level 1 nit brightness for environments and TÜV Rheinland Smart Eye Protection 5.0 Gold certified.
More details on the third-generation Oriental screen will be shared by BOE on October 14 during its launch event in Shenzhen, China. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 15 is expected to be unveiled later this month in China.
