Amazon has expanded the Kindle Scribe series with the introduction of the new Kindle Scribe and Scribe Colorsoft.
Kindle Scribe and Scribe Colorsoft
The Scribe has an 11-inch matte textured e-ink display with custom mini LEDs that fit under the thin bezel. The new model has a textured molded glass that improves friction to provide the same texture as paper.

Meanwhile, a new display stack reduces parallax that makes the stylus feel closer to the display and a new Oxide display technology. Lastly, it boasts a quad-core chip with more memory.
The Scribe Colorsoft, on the other hand, has a color display with a color filter and nitrite LEDs to soften the colors. It is said to offer weeks of battery life despite the color.

The two new Scribe offerings have Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive integration and a new AI-powered search that allows you to look for things in your notes. Moreover, there’s a Quick Notes feature that allows you to take notes on the go.
Amazon has also revealed integration with Alexa+ that will allow you to send your notes and documents and have a conversation about them. This feature, though, will be available early next year.

The Scribe and Scribe Colorsoft will be available later this year in the US. The version of the Scribe without a front light will be offered early next year.
