The one free year of Gemini Pro not only helps with faster searching, but it also brings the power of AI with a personalized study guide, research assistant, and digital locker.
The plan provides expanded access to AI models like Gemini 2.5 Pro and DeepResearch that aid in tackling complex topics. Moreover, the Pro plan comes with 2TB of cloud storage that ensures that all your research papers, projects, and notes are backed up and available anywhere.
The new AI Mode in Google Search now also lets you upload videos and PDFs directly to ask questions and do things like summarize.
Google has also focused on building tools that integrate into how you study. The Pro plan unlocks features on tools like Gemini and NotebookLM. Among these include:
- Customized learning on Gemini – turn your notes into digital review sessions with instant flashcards or help structure your sessions with Study Guides and Guided Learning
- Veo 3 Fast – creates dynamic videos with custom audio for your projects from text and image prompts
