OnePlus has released its latest teaser for the OnePlus 15 and it hints at its possible launch date – October 27. This date, though, refers to its Chinese launch, not the global launch.
OnePlus 15 Launch Date Teased
The latest teaser showcases the front of the device with the date October 27 and the time 7 PM. It also showcases extra slim, symmetrical bezels at just 1.15mm.
According to leaks, the panel is expected to be a 6.78-inch BOE X3 Oriental AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. The refresh rate, in particular, is a massive leap from the pretty standard 120Hz refresh rate on the OnePlus 13.
OnePlus reveals that the OnePlus 15 will have a new aerospace-grade nano-ceramic mid-frame, which is said to be stronger than aluminum and lighter than titanium. Moreover, it will have “Quenching Texture” and an “Ice Skin” finish in the Sand Dune color option.
One surprising feature that is also confirmed is the new camera module, which has a rounded square design that strays from the iconic circular camera module of previous OnePlus devices. This is said to house three 50MP with a periscope telephoto lens.
The OnePlus 15 is also reported to have a massive 7000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
We expect OnePlus to officially reveal more of its specs and the launch date in the following days, especially with about a month to go until the teased October 27 date. It is believed to go global in November.
