A new era of wearable adventure begins as Huawei unveils the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2, geared for divers, explorers, athletes, and health-focused users.
What sets the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2’s design apart?

The WATCH Ultimate 2 features a striking octagonal skeletonized case paired with a double-toned nano-tech ceramic bezel. Its 1.5-inch LTPO display reaches 3500 nits for clear outdoor visibility, and the sapphire glass along with a zirconium-based liquid metal case enhance both durability and aesthetics. Users can choose between breathable hollow fluoroelastomer or wave-textured straps for comfort whether on land or underwater.
What does underwater functionality offer?
This smartwatch claims the world’s first 150-metre diving capability, supported by a robust waterproof structure and certified to ISO 22810 and EN 13319 standards. Its mini-sonar module enables standalone underwater messaging up to 30 metres, supporting texts and emojis for group dives and emergencies. A unique SOS function can reach partners up to 60 metres away if a diver needs help, while detailed diving data and history are accessible both on the watch and companion app.
How does outdoor and sports tracking improve safety?
The HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 uses the Sunflower Positioning System with dual-frequency GNSS and supports route import, location marking, and full-color offline maps for precise tracking on expeditions. Fall Detection and High-Altitude Adaptation provide timely alerts in hazardous situations. For outdoor athletes, the watch records activities and controls action cameras via smart gestures, while in Golf Course mode, it offers 3D views of over 17,000 global courses, swing guidance, and a digital scorecard.
What health and smart features are available on the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2?
Multi-Sensing X-TAP Technology allows data logging from the wrist to fingertips, providing health insights such as blood oxygen, heart rate, sleep, HRV, stress, and ECG-based arrhythmia analysis. In just 60 seconds, a comprehensive health glance assesses more than ten metrics. The watch can identify twelve emotional states, offer breathing and fitness exercises, and monitor sleep quality throughout the night. Daily living conveniences include calling noise reduction, QR/NFC scanning, music streaming, remote photo functions, and access to a wide selection of apps.
How long does the battery last in real-world use?
Battery life adapts to usage modes: 18 hours for diving (12 hours with sonar messaging active), 40 hours for expeditions, and up to 24 hours for golf tracking. Typical paired usage delivers up to 4.5 days with Android or 3.5 days with iOS, while light-use scenarios extend battery life to a maximum of 11 days. AOD (Always-On Display) reduces daily runtime but keeps essential info accessible.
At the time of launch, Huawei has not announced details regarding pricing or pre-orders for the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 in the Philippines, but stay tuned to its official website, Facebook and Instagram pages for more information.
