What Products Does Home Credit Finance Most?

Smartphones are Home Credit’s largest product category, financing 2.5 million smartphones since the start of 2024—an average of 5,000 devices per day by August 2025. iPhone financing alone is at PHP 10 billion in 2024 and is even projected to hit PHP 20 billion by the end of 2025.
Home appliances is another major segment. During peak seasons, Home Credit finances an average of 700 refrigerators, 1,400 televisions, and 1,100 air conditioners daily. The mobility sector has also emerged as a rapidly growing category, with the company financing nearly 70,000 motorcycles and e-bikes since early 2024, totaling PHP 4.5 billion in transactions.
How Does Home Credit Protect Customer Purchases?

Home Credit offers comprehensive protection through its Home Credit Protect program, available for as low as PHP 3 per day. The program provides two coverage options: Borrower Protection, which covers accidents, life events, illness, and family protection; and Device Protection, which safeguards against damage and offers extended warranties.
As of August 2025, Home Credit has approved and released over PHP 1.75 billion in claims, with nearly 70,000 devices repaired or replaced under the protection program. This demonstrates strong customer trust and utilization of the insurance offerings.
What Financial Impact Has Home Credit Achieved?
Home Credit Philippines has already disbursed approximately PHP 500 billion in total sales across all credit offerings since its establishment. Its financial performance continues to strengthen, on track to exceed last year’s performance.
The consumer finance company operates under proper regulatory oversight, being licensed and supervised by both the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Home Credit has also received recognition as the Best Finance Company of the Philippines in 2024 by the Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards.
