GCash has announced that it will route all direct cash-in transactions through InstaPay starting October 1, 2025.

This transition is in line with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) directive to adopt InstaPay, a national initiative aimed at ensuring faster, safer, and more transparent fund transfers across various financial institutions.
A key highlight of this new policy is GCash’s commitment to not levy any additional fees for direct cash-in services. This move is expected to benefit millions of users who frequently top up their accounts, reinforcing the company’s promise to keep its services affordable and accessible.
However, the company also advises users to be aware that partner banks may adjust their own service fees, and encourages customers to check with their respective banks for updated fee schedules.
