HONOR 400 Pro, A Sleeper Hit
It’s not easy to spot a sleeper hit, but the HONOR 400 Pro is exactly that. This phone isn’t loud about its features, but it delivers in ways that matter. From my experience, it handles everything I throw at it from photography down to productivity.

Is the HONOR 400 Pro really good for Photography?
People want their phones to take good photos, and the HONOR 400 Pro does that with ease. Its main camera is 200MP. You get sharp, detailed photos that look great both in daylight and at night. The camera isn’t just about numbers. I’ve used it for real travel photos—scenic views in Los Angeles, busy spots like Manhattan Beach, and even tough lighting at the Korean Friendship Bell. The camera knows how to balance light and shadow.
There’s a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and an ultrawide lens for big scenes. Portrait mode works well. Backgrounds blur naturally. Even selfies look sharp, thanks to a high-res front camera. The phone has an AI Erase feature. If you find someone walking into your photo, the tool removes them quickly. The result looks clean. This feature helps a lot in busy places.

Shooting photos at Golden Gate Bridge or Canada’s mountain lakes, you get color and detail. The HDR helps on bright, sunny days. My photos didn’t lose details in the sky, and shadows stayed clear. I didn’t need a DSLR or any other camera. Everything I needed was in my pocket.
Is it Amazing in Gaming?
Gaming is simple on the HONOR 400 Pro. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. I played several games, and there was no lag or slowdown. The screen is 6.7 inches with a 120Hz refresh rate, so every movement looks smooth. Touch response is fast.

Some phones heat up during games. This one managed heat well. And if the battery dropped, quick charging got me back in the game fast. I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything. Games looked good, loaded quickly, and played without problems.

Impressive Battery Life
One thing I always check is battery life. This phone has a large battery—6,000mAh, to be more specific. I could go through the day taking pictures, watching videos, and gaming, and still have battery left at night. Fast charging is real: 100W wired and 50W wireless. Fifteen minutes was enough for most of my top-ups. I even used reverse charging to give a friend’s device some energy when they needed it.

You don’t have to worry about finding a charger halfway through the day. Even with heavy use, you’ll likely end up with power to spare.
Irresistible Price
The HONOR 400 Pro offers what many flagship phones do, but for much less. In the Philippines, HONOR Philippines managed to squeeze its price to PhP32,999, about PhP4,000 cheaper than its global price. With this, you get a phone with a pro-level camera, top-end processor, a big battery, and a vivid screen.

Most people just want a phone that works well. This phone does more than that. It handles photos like a PRO, plays games without delay, and can stay away from a charger for two days.

I believe the HONOR 400 Pro deserves more attention, much like the attention that people are giving to the people who attended the recently concluded GMA Gala. It works for real people—in daily life, on trips, whether you’re taking photos at a lake or playing games at home. If you want good photos, smooth gaming, and a phone that lasts, this could be your next phone. There’s no need to look for a big brand or wait for a huge sale. The HONOR 400 Pro is here, and it works!
