TEAMGROUP recently introduced the TEAMGROUP P250Q self-destruct SSD, an innovative solution that reinforces sensitive data protection through software and hardware-based data erasure mechanisms and more.

TEAMGROUP P250Q Self-Destruct SSD

The TEAMGROUP P250Q is engineered to meet the stringent security and stability requirements of military, industrial automation, and AI applications. It is equipped with a patented independent circuit that enables precise data erasure at the hardware level by targeting the Flash IC.

The SSD also has an intelligent software system with an auto-resume function that ensures data destruction continues seamlessly after an unexpected power outage.

The P250Q uses a PCIe Gen4x4 interface and compiles with the NVMe 1.4 protocol, delivering read speeds of up to 7,000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 5,500 MB/s to support data processing. Moreover, it is built with high-reliability 3D TLC NAND Flash and has S.M.A.R.T. health monitoring technology for better longevity and stability.

The TEAMGROUP P250Q is available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities.

In addition to the launch of the P250Q, TEAMGROUP also announced that it has been granted a U.S. invention patent for its wide-temperature M.2 SSD technology, developed for high-temperature industrial environments.

It automatically adjusts data transmission rates across three defined thermal zones, which enables stable SSD performance in ambient temperatures of up to 105°C.

This technology makes it suited for deployment in various settings like electric vehicle ECUs, smart manufacturing equipment, and in-vehicle systems.
