Sony Philippines has announced the pre-order launch of its flagship BRAVIA 5 98″ Mini LED TV, the largest addition to the company’s 2025 television lineup. The pre-order period runs from July 15 to August 3, 2025, with the television priced at PHP 333,399.
Customers who will pre-order during this period will receive a complimentary BRAVIA Theatre Quad home theatre system, valued at PHP 144,449.
Technical Specifications and Features
The BRAVIA 5 98″ model packs Sony’s XR Processor with AI scene recognition technology. This processing system delivers enhanced picture quality through XR Triluminos Pro for color reproduction and XR Backlight Master Drive for contrast management. The television supports multiple high-end formats including Studio Calibrated Modes, IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos.
For audio, the television features Acoustic Multi-Audio and Voice Zoom 3 technologies designed to create immersive sound that appears to emanate from the screen. The included BRAVIA Theatre Quad system adds 360 Spatial Sound Mapping that adapts to room acoustics.
Smart TV Platform and Sustainability
The television runs on Google TV, providing access to streaming applications, voice search functionality, and personalized content recommendations. Sony has integrated environmental considerations into the design, including an Eco Dashboard 2 for energy management and the use of SORPLAS, a recycled plastic material developed by Sony.
Pre-Order Process and Requirements


Pre-orders are available exclusively through participating Sony authorized dealers. Customers are required to make a non-refundable downpayment of PHP 65,000 to reserve a unit, with full payment required by August 3, 2025.

Deliveries will be fulfilled between August 4 and August 31, 2025, with arrangements made through the participating dealer. Pre-orders not claimed by August 31 will be forfeited.
