OnePlus has officially expanded its Nord family in India with the introduction of the OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE5. The former features the programmable Plus Key that replaces the alert slider.
The duo comes with large batteries and a 50MP main camera around the back.
OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE5
The OnePlus Nord 5 is built around a 6.83-inch 144Hz 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor housed in a punch hole.
The Nord CE5 is smaller with a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a lower resolution at a refresh rate of FHD+ and 120Hz, respectively. It also has a tuned-down front snapper with a 16MP Sony IMX480 lens.
The duo shares a 50MP main lens and an 8MP OmniVision OV08D10 ultrawide camera. The Nord 5, though, uses a Sony LYT-700 sensor, while the Nord CE5 is equipped with a Sony LYT-600.
The Nord 5 is also powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 backed by a 6800mAh cell with support for 80W SUPERVOOC charging. Meanwhile, the Nord CE5 has a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex processor with a massive 7100mAh battery and support for the same 80W SUPERVOOC charging.
