Infinix has just launched another tablet, the Infinix XPAD 20, following closely on the heels of the Infinix XPAD GT. While the XPAD GT is built for gaming, the Infinix XPAD 20 focuses on productivity and daily mobile use. It offers 4G LTE connectivity, keeping you connected wherever you go, and includes Infinix AI features to help with daily tasks.
Infinix XPAD 20: What’s Good About It?

The Infinix XPAD 20 comes with an 11-inch IPS LCD screen that’s comfortable for everyday use. The screen features a Full HD+ resolution (1200 x 1920 pixels), which is ideal for watching videos and playing light games. The colors are decent with a 72% NTSC color gamut. While it doesn’t support HDR, it does have Widevine L1 certification, allowing you to stream movies in high quality. The 90Hz refresh rate makes everything appear smooth. The brightness reaches up to 400 nits, which is sufficient for indoor use, and it’s TUV Rheinland certified for low blue light emission to reduce eye strain.

For audio, the Infinix XPAD 20 features DTS-based stereo speakers that produce loud and clear sound. It features two speakers, positioned at the top and bottom, providing a balanced sound in landscape mode. Plus, it still has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired earphones.
A handy feature is Hi Folax, a personal assistant powered by OpenAI. You can activate it by saying “Hi Folax” and then asking for help with tasks, explanations, ideas, or even giving commands like taking a selfie or opening apps.

Under the hood, the Infinix XPAD 20 uses the Helio G88 chipset, which handles daily tasks like browsing and opening apps smoothly. It comes with 4/8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage.
There’s also a dedicated microSD slot that supports up to 1 TB of extra storage. The Helio G88 has an octa-core CPU with two performance cores at 2 GHz, six power-efficient cores at 1.8 GHz, and a Mali G52 MP2 GPU.

The tablet ships with Android 15, the latest version at launch. What’s notable is that Infinix guarantees two system upgrades, meaning it will get updates up to Android 17. Security patches are also supported for a longer time, making it a good choice for long-term use.
The Infinix XPAD 20 supports 4G LTE connectivity, which is a great addition to an affordable tablet. This means you can get internet access anywhere, even without Wi-Fi.
It packs a large 7000 mAh battery, which can last two to three days depending on how you use it. The power-efficient Helio G88 and 90 Hz screen help with battery life.

Finally, the design is minimalist, lightweight, and slim, measuring 7.9 mm thick and weighing 498 grams. It comes in four colors: Stellar Grey, Dreamy Purple, Forest Green, and Rising Red. Infinix includes a protective case in the box, which is a nice touch for durability.
What Could Be Better?
One of the main drawbacks is slow charging. The tablet only supports 10W charging, which is slower than the previous model. Charging the 7000 mAh battery will take a long time, so it’s best to charge it overnight. However, a charger is included in the box. The tablet does support reverse charging, letting it act as a power bank.
Another downside is the lack of biometric security features like fingerprint or face recognition. You’ll have to rely on passwords, PINs, or patterns to unlock the device.
While good for everyday use, the XPAD 20 is not suitable for heavy gaming, as it focuses on prolonging battery life. The Helio G88 processor is a downgrade compared to the Helio G99 in the first-generation XPAD.

How the XPAD 20 Fits Your Life
For Students

The 11-inch Full HD+ screen is great for reading ebooks, taking notes, and watching educational videos. With the dedicated microSD slot, students can store a lot of lecture notes, research papers, and assignments. The long-lasting 7000 mAh battery means it can power through a full day of classes and study without needing a recharge. The included case also helps protect it from daily wear and tear. The Hi Folax AI assistant can help with quick questions or explanations, which can be useful for homework or understanding concepts.
For Workers

The XPAD 20’s focus on productivity makes it a good companion for office tasks. The 4G LTE connectivity is a big plus, allowing you to stay connected for emails and online meetings even when you’re not near Wi-Fi. The ability to get two Android system upgrades means it will stay current with software for a few years, which is good for accessing newer work applications. While it’s not a powerhouse, the Helio G88 handles common office apps and browsing efficiently. The minimalist and lightweight design makes it easy to carry to and from work.
For Everyday Carry
This tablet is designed for general daily use. Its comfortable screen and clear stereo speakers make it enjoyable for media consumption, like watching movies or listening to music on the go. The 4G LTE support ensures you’re always connected, whether you’re commuting, traveling, or just out and about. The 7000 mAh battery can last for days of light use, meaning less worry about finding a charger.

Plus, with Android 15 and guaranteed upgrades, you’ll have a modern and reliable device for years to come. The inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack is also a convenience for many users.
The Infinix XPAD 20 is an affordable tablet that offers good value for its price, especially if you’re looking for a device that will last and stay updated. Its large display, long battery life, and 4G LTE support are definite highlights. Just keep in mind the slower charging and lack of biometric security.
