Huawei has announced the pre-order details for the MatePad Pro 12.2″ (2025), a tablet designed to bridge the gap between mobile portability and desktop-level productivity.

The MatePad Pro 12.2″ (2025) measures just 5.5mm thin and weighs 512g. It also features a 12.2-inch 2.8K OLED FullView Display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2,000 nits of peak brightness, 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, a nano-etched anti-glare surface for a paper-like texture, anti-sparkle technology to reduce flickering, anti-reflection layering to minimize glare, and multiple Eye Comfort Modes designed to reduce eye strain during extended use.
The tablet can be paired with the HUAWEI Glide Keyboard, which connects via NearLink 2.0 technology for stable, low-latency performance. It even has a built-in stylus holder and uses spill-resistant materials that can withstand common liquids like coffee and oil.
The device includes lifetime access to PC-Level WPS Office Suite, providing full-featured document editing capabilities with familiar desktop interfaces and tools. The Live Multitask feature enables users to operate up to three applications simultaneously in resizable windows, allowing for flexible workflow management.
The intelligent HUAWEI Notes app incorporates AI handwriting enhancement, symbol search functionality, and access to a Resource Market containing templates, covers, and stickers for professional contexts.
There’s also GoPaint, a built-in creative application powered by the FangTian Painting Engine. It supports 8K canvases and works with the HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd Gen) to provide pressure-sensitive input across multiple levels.
GoPaint offers specialized brushes including the 3D Oil Painting Brush for texture effects, the True-Color Brush for gradient work, and the Splatter Brush for organic textures. The application also supports frame-by-frame animation with layer-to-frame mapping, enabling motion design for stickers and storyboards.
The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2″ (2025) houses a 10,100mAh battery for up to 14 hours of continuous use and can be recharged to full in 55 minutes. Smart Power Conserve even allows the tablet to remain on standby for over a year, while its advanced heat dissipation design allows it to maintain performance during intensive tasks.
Security features include fingerprint unlock and encrypted payment processing. The device supports Wi-Fi 7 through Super Signal technology for stable high-speed connectivity.

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2″ (2025) is priced at PHP 49,999 and is available for pre-order from July 11 to July 17, 2025. The device can be ordered via Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, the HUAWEI Online Store, and at HUAWEI Experience Stores nationwide.
Those who pre-order will receive early bird vouchers worth PHP 2,000 and an exclusive bundle valued at PHP 28,895.
