Epson has unveiled the Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-M5500, its first-ever A3 mono mid-range model in the WorkForce Enterprise Series.

Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-M5500
The Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-M5500 is designed to meet the demand for high-speed and high-volume printing in the 31-60 pages per minute (ppm) range.
The new printer offers 55 ppm and fast scan speeds of 70 images per minute (ipm) for simplex scanning and 140 ipm for duplex scanning. Moreover, it introduces advanced capabilities, including Optical Character Recognition (OCR), which supports the creation of searchable and editable documents. This feature is the same as that of the AM-C4000/C5000/C6000/C400/C550 models.
The AM-M5500 has a large, tiltable 10.1-inch LCD touch panel with a modern graphic user interface. It is also highly scalable with options that include a dual cassette for a floor-standing configuration. Moreover, it supports various finishing solutions like stapling, booklet finishing, and a space-saving inner finisher.
The latest WorkForce Enterprise printer is powered by Epson’s Heat-Free Technology, which is said to reduce energy consumption of up to 85% compared to laser printers.
