Acer has solidified its position as the leading PC brand in the Philippines, capturing a significant 35.7% share of the total market in the first quarter of 2025. The company’s dominance extends across multiple segments, with particularly strong performance in consumer notebooks at 34.2% market share and an impressive 40.6% share in the gaming laptop category.

Market research firm GfK provided these figures, which demonstrate Acer’s continued strength in the Philippine technology market. The company’s momentum carried through April, where its notebook segment achieved a 36% market share, reinforcing its market-leading position.

Acer attributes much of its success to a its marketing strategy which focuses on strategic partnerships with brand ambassadors. This approach has been proven effective in expanding the company’s reach across the Philippines while strengthening its connection with local consumers.

The most notable partnership involves the popular Filipino boy band SB19, known as the “Kings of P-pop.” This collaboration, which began before their official ambassadorship in 2021, has been instrumental in maintaining Acer’s relevance among younger consumers.
