The latest ASUS Vivobook laptops offer more versatility compared to their predecessors, thanks to the various CPU options available for the Vivobook S series line and the improvements of these chips in terms of performance and efficiency. The ever-changing landscape of the components makes the brand more competitive and thus reduces pricing for this year’s Vivobook line compared to last year’s lineup. We have the ASUS Vivobook S 16 S3607CA as our choice in the recently launched 2025 Vivobook S series, and here are the reasons why.
Intel Core Ultra 7 Processor – Performance beyond Browsing and Productivity

Intel Core Series 2 processors offer better performance compared to the last generation and even the rest of the CPU variants of the Vivobook S line, thanks to the higher 16-core count at 35W TDP with up to a max turbo power of 115W. The increased core count allows for better multitasking for more efficient productivity and even content creation for professionals, students, and creatives.
Stand Out 16-inch WUXGA Display

In our review, we mentioned that the ASUS Vivobook S16 S3607CA doesn’t have the best color accuracy, but it still does have a large, 1920x1200p 16:10 144Hz display for immersive visuals and fast response times. Its tall aspect ratio makes multitasking and multi-windowing easy. The 1.59cm thin profile makes it feel like you don’t have a large 16-inch WUXGA display that you carry around inside your back.
Online and Offline AI Capabilities

The Intel Core Ultra 2 Series has an NPU with 13 TOPS performance, with the overall package reaching 96 PEAK TOPS in INT8 for accelerated AI workloads. Paired with Microsoft Copilot and AI Apps like Story Cube, you’re overall experience with the Vivobook S16 is enhanced and seamless through AI. The Vivobook S16 is also equipped with Adaptive Dimming and AI Noise cancellation out of the box.
Superb Battery Life

The higher TDP and increased core count of the Intel Core Ultra 7 255H translate to a shorter battery life compared to its counterparts, but it’s still efficient enough that you still get battery life compared to most laptops in the market, even the more premium ones. We tested the 70WHr battery in PCMark 10 Modern Office benchmark, and it resulted in an impressive 16 hours in its power saver profile, with the faster Performance profile still resulting in a positive 12:52min battery life.
For context, most laptops in the market average around 4 to 6 hours, with most of them rarely and barely even reaching the 8-hour mark. The 12-to-16-hour battery life of the ASUS VivoBook S3607CA is still on the longer side, considering the larger display and Ultra 7 255H processor.
Price
The ASUS Vivobook S 16 S3607CA with the Intel Core 7 Ultra 255H processor has an SRP of 65,995 for the 16GB DDR5 and 1TB configuration. It’s a competitive price given that you have a well-rounded memory and storage capacity. Moreover, the ASUS Vivobook S 16 S3607CA has a 14-inch variant, the Vivobook S14 S3407CA. It’s basically the same internals but in a much compact 14-inch chassis priced at Php 59,995, offering more portability for those who need the reduced weight and smaller form factor.
