Spotify has announced a series of updates to make its app more user-friendly.
New Spotify Features Rolling Out
The updates, which are gradually rolling out, include an upgraded Queue for Premium users, featuring a redesigned interface with Shuffle, Smart Shuffle, Repeat, and Sleep Timer controls. Premium users will also receive song recommendations after their queued tracks finish.
Additional features include an updated Hide button for removing tracks from playlists across all devices, and a Snooze option to remove songs from recommendations for 30 days. A new “+” button at the bottom-right of the mobile app allows users to easily create playlists, collaborate with friends, and join a Blend.
In supported markets, Premium users gain access to Jam for real-time listening with friends and AI Playlist, which turns creative ideas into playlists.
Users in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and South Africa can now convert Liked Songs into playlists. The app’s Your Library is now the third option at the bottom.
