Sony has officially launched the Sony Xperia 1 VII, boasting significant upgrades over its predecessor. The device arrives before the anticipated WH-1000XM6 release.

The Xperia 1 VII is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, delivering a reported 40% performance boost across CPU, GPU, and NPU. It retains a 5,000 mAh battery, now optimized for up to two days of use. The display is brighter and includes a new rear light sensor for improved color and brightness adjustments.

The Xperia 1 VII features Walkman audio components for improved wired headphones sound quality. Its camera system has a 48 MP ultra-wide lens and a macro camera, with native 24 mm and 48 mm focal lengths. Available in three colors, it will receive four OS updates and six years of security patches.
