OPPO‘s next flip-style foldable smartphone, potentially named the OPPO Find N5 Flip, may have had its design unveiled through a recent patent filing at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
This comes after the company launched its Find N3 Flip in 2023, with no subsequent flip phone announcements until now.

The patent images showcase a design distinct from OPPO’s previous flip models, yet it retains signature elements of the Flip line, such as a prominent cover screen, alongside the camera module. Notably, the device features a triple-camera setup, a rare feature in the flip form factor, also seen on the Find N3 Flip.

However, the camera arrangement in the new patent appears more reminiscent of the Find N2 Flip’s positioning, with lenses integrated into a larger, possibly Samsung-esque, island. The cover display is larger than that on the Find N3 Flip, aligning with the industry trend of increasing external screen sizes on foldable phones.

The OPPO Find N5 Flip patent filings provide a glimpse into a potential future device, but they don’t definitively confirm its existence or final design, and further details are awaited..
