Infinix has announced the launch of its first AI-powered earbuds through a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo. The Infinix AI Buds offer real-time translation in 162 languages along with high-quality audio and innovative design features.
Infinix AI Earbuds
Inifinix’s AI Buds can translate conversations in real-time across 162 languages, eliminating the need for separate translation devices or apps. The earbuds use Infinix’s CogLabs AI technology to power two main translation modes.
Conversation Translation mode helps users communicate face-to-face with people who speak different languages. Real-Time Interpretation mode translates speeches and audio content as it happens. The earbuds also convert speech to text, making it easy to create written records of meetings and lectures.
The earbuds come with a clear charging case with a touchscreen interface. Users can control music, adjust volume, and manage playback from the case without using their phone. The display also shows the time, battery levels, and lets users adjust settings like noise cancellation.
The transparent design gives the earbuds a modern, futuristic appearance while allowing users to see the internal components and charging status.
The AI Buds feature advanced noise cancellation technology that adapts to different environments. The earbuds can reduce outside noise by up to 45 decibels and automatically adjust based on surroundings, whether in busy cafes, airplanes, or crowded streets.
Two microphones work together to ensure clear phone calls even in noisy places, providing users with an excellent listening experience in any setting.
The device boasts up to 36 hours of playback time when noise cancellation is off, or about 25 hours with it activated. After launch, Infinix will also add a voice assistant called Folax through a software update. Users will be able to say “Hi Folax” to control volume, change songs, check weather, or start translations without touching the earbuds.
Availability and Pricing
The Infinix AI Buds will be available initially through Indiegogo. Its will be announced on the Indiegogo campaign page, with special early-bird offers for initial backers. After the crowdfunding campaign ends, Infinix will share information about wider retail availability.
