HONOR is reportedly set to introduce substantial enhancements to its mid-range smartphone lineup with the upcoming HONOR 400 series. The most notable upgrade could be the integration of a 200-megapixel main camera, potentially making these phones among the most capable in photography in their market segment.
HONOR 400 Series: Brand’s Best Midrangers to Date?
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the standard HONOR 400 is expected to feature a 6.55-inch screen, while the Pro variant may offer a slightly larger 6.7-inch display. Both devices are touted to utilize flat panel displays with 1.5K resolution and LTPS technology.
The devices are reportedly set to use different chipsets. The standard HONOR 400 may be equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen processor, while the HONOR 400 Pro could feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for flagship-level processing capabilities.
Perhaps the most significant rumored enhancement concerns the camera system. The HONOR 400 series may introduce a 200-megapixel main camera, which would represent a substantial upgrade for a mid-range device. Additionally, the Pro variant may incorporate a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, adding versatility.
The HONOR 400 series is expected to feature a metal frame for enhanced durability, which has been where some brands have been focusing on with their recent devices. We could also see improvements in battery technology with the possible inclusion of a 7000mAh silicon unit for extended usage between charges.
While these specifications appear promising, the HONOR 400 Series, or that’s what it’s likely to be called has not officially launched, and actual specifications may differ.
