ASUS Philippines has debuted its newest budget gaming laptops, the ASUS Gaming V16 (V3607) and ASUS Gaming X16 (K3605). Both aim to make high-performance gaming more accessible to aspiring gamers.
Powerful Performance in a Portable Design
The new ASUS Gaming series offers impressive specifications to handle modern gaming needs. The laptops feature up to an Intel Core 5 processor (Series 2) and graphics options up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 with DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation. Supporting these components are up to 16GB of DDR5 memory and 512GB of storage, ensuring responsive performance for gaming sessions.
Both models come with 16-inch 16:10 FHD IPS displays with a 144Hz refresh rate, providing smooth visuals and an 89% screen-to-body ratio for immersive gaming experiences. The listening experience is enhanced with Dirac audio technology and ASUS Audio Booster, while the AI noise-cancellation feature ensures clear voice communication during gameplay or video calls.
Designed for Gamers on the Go
Despite their powerful components, the ASUS Gaming laptops are able to maintain a portable profile. The ASUS Gaming V16 measures just 1.8cm thin and weighs 1.95kg in a Matte Black chassis, while the ASUS Gaming X16 is 1.89cm thin and weighs 1.8kg in an Indie Black finish.
The laptops feature touchpads that are 40% larger than similar models, ASUS ErgoSense keyboards, and gamer-focused aesthetics including Turbo Blue keyboard backlighting and neon-highlighted transparent WASD and arrow keys.
Both models include two USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port, an HDMI port, a DC-in jack, and an audio combo jack. The X16 model also includes an SD Card Reader for additional functionality.
The ASUS Gaming series is designed for durability and extended use, using up to a 63Wh battery, ASUS IceCool Thermal Technology with dual fans and heat pipes, and MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification.
Pricing and Availability
The ASUS Gaming Series is now available at ASUS and ROG Stores as well as authorized partners across the Philippines for models powered by RTX 30 and 40 GPUs. The RTX 5060 model will be available starting June 2025.
